Be the First to glimpse UPside Dance Company’s provocative new dance work, ‘Chrysalis’, on Sunday, December 14th at 6:30pm at Yoga On Center in Healdsburg.

Co-directors Kate Ahumada & Tanya Tolmasoff and the UPside Dancers will present ‘works in progress’ of ‘Chrysalis‘ Spring 2015 premier.  Observers will have a rare opportunity to see the behind-the-scenes process of the dance world, visit with the dance artists, and ask questions of the choreographers as you witness the secrets of ‘Chrysalis’ unfurl.

It’s that time of year again….   UPside Dancers will be part of the sultry, spooky, sexy, body-part hanging, and zombie filled shenanigans of the ‘Supernatural Soiree’ at Bergamot Alley on Nov. 1st.  Our newest piece ‘Operation… Nurse’ will mark the second anniversary of UPside Dance!

Watch-out for those sexy nurses… As we create an operation room of sexiness!

‘Post It… an ode to the sticky notes’ was a hugely loved piece by the critics of Boulder, Colorado!

We look forward to bringing new innovative and ridiculous work there again!

We are in the midst of creating our newest dance work entitled post-it!  An ode to the humble sticky note of to-do lists!

We have been chosen to be guest choreographers of Interweave Dance Theatre in Colorado and will be setting this new piece on 7 courageously quirky dancers in July/August.  Hurray!

What could be more charming?  Dance performances, May-pole, rose perfume fields, rose petals being tossed, rose sorbet tastings….

Join the delightful choreographers and dancers of UPside Dance Company for a merry evening of food, wine, and supporting local dance.  Be swept away by a four-course menu inspired by UPside Dance’s newest performance, ‘SRUM’.  Chef’s Kolin Vazzoler (Simi Winery) and Jake Martin (Restaurant Charcuterie) will be collaborating to make this delicious evening a true gypsy feast.  

As well as being a flavorful event, the dinner is a fundraiser for ‘STRUM’-  A vibrant dance performance celebrating the commonality between musical instruments and dancers. You will be able to meet choreographers and core company dancers and get the insider information for this new performance.
